With the announcement of her Still Finally Over It Tour, Summer Walker is stepping into her biggest era yet. The arena run celebrates her latest album Finally Over It and brings closure to the trilogy that began with Over It (2019) and Still Over It (2021). Kicking off in Toronto in late May and traveling through cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and London, the tour marks Walker’s first full-scale arena trek. We caught up with her to talk about growth, vulnerability, and what fans can expect from this milestone moment.
Q: This is your first major arena tour. What does this moment mean to you?
Summer Walker: It feels surreal. I’ve grown so much since Over It, not just as an artist but as a person. To now step into arenas and bring this whole trilogy to life on a bigger stage — it’s like closing a chapter properly. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Q: The tour celebrates Finally Over It. How does this album reflect where you are now?
Walker: That album is about clarity. The first two projects were very raw and emotional — heartbreak, processing pain, figuring things out. Finally Over It feels more grounded. I’m still honest, but there’s peace in it. That’s the energy I want people to feel when they leave the show.
Q: You’re bringing Monaleo and Odeal on the road. Why them?
Walker: I love what Monaleo represents — she’s confident and unapologetic. And Odeal has this smooth, soulful energy that fits perfectly with the vibe of the tour. I wanted artists who bring something unique but still complement the emotional world I’ve built.
Q: What can fans expect from the setlist and stage experience?
Walker: It’s going to span everything — the old hits, the songs people cried to, and the new records that show where I am now. I’m really focused on making it feel intentional. The visuals, the transitions, the band — it’s all curated to tell the full story of the trilogy.
Q: After completing the Over It trilogy, what’s next for you creatively?
Walker: I’m excited to explore without feeling boxed into a theme. The trilogy was powerful, but now I feel free. This tour is about celebrating that freedom with the fans who’ve been there since day one.
